What is the Local plan?▾
Local ($12/mo) is Dokpod Desktop only. Indexing and search run on your machine. No cloud vault. Built for privacy and for staying under a typical Cursor seat.
Is there a free plan?▾
No permanent free tier. Start a 7-day Pro free trial with full cloud access, or subscribe to Local for desktop-only.
What happens when my trial ends?▾
If you don't cancel, your subscription starts automatically. If you cancel during the trial, uploads and MCP search pause when the trial ends. Your files are kept.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?▾
Yes. Upgrade to yearly anytime from billing settings. We prorate the difference. Switching from yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of your billing period.
How does Team billing work?▾
Team is priced per seat with a 3-seat minimum. One admin manages billing. Enable vault sharing and set each member’s MCP scope so teammates can search the right files, not everything by default.
What counts toward video processing?▾
Minutes are based on uploaded video length during AI processing. Re-searching an already-processed video doesn't use additional minutes.
How do you save tokens?▾
Dokpod indexes files into small sections. MCP returns a few matching chunks (often about 3.5K tokens), not the whole document. Vs re-pasting a large spec every chat, that is commonly 80 to 95% fewer document tokens.
Can I manage or cancel my subscription?▾
Yes. Go to Settings → Billing to update payment or cancel. Use the same email as your Dokpod account.
